Week 24, Meeting 1:
Date: 17/11/2010
To allow for more time between the lecturers and the current Final Team Project starters, this weeks meeting with Andrew and Amanda was cancelled. The Wednesday meetings will resume at 9am next week with the team receiving feedback on one pages worth of written documentation.
Date: 18/11/2010
Time: 02:30pm until 03:00pm
Staff present: Brian Morris
Location: C2 – 08
As Phil was absent this week, the team spent our Thursday meeting showing Brian the final version of our level while also questioning him on subjects such as room bookings and printing questionnaires.
Brian suggested to try and do the majority of our testing in C2-08, as other project rooms are allocated to students in different subject areas to ours. Taking his advice, the team went straight after the meeting and booked the project room between the hours of 9am and 5pm for both tomorrow and next Friday.
We also left Brian with a sheet requesting 45 print outs of our pre and post-test questionnaires. While both black & white and double sided to save resources, we should now have more than enough questionnaires to cover our entire test process.
Items addressed:
i. Milestone IV Presentation Feedback.
ii. Test Level Run-Through.
iii. Room Bookings.
iv. Pre and Post-Test Questionnaires.

What is our aim?
Our project aim is to research the usage of non-playable characters in games and investigate what drives player reactions to them.
By researching into this, we hope to evolve storytelling in games by defining the characteristics players find most compelling in NPCs, ultimately leaving with more engaging characters.
