Team Overview - Week 23

Week 23, Meeting 1:
Date: 10/11/2010
Time: 10:00am until 10:25am

In our first meeting this week, the team spent time with Andrew and Amanda discussing the final team report. Both lecturers analysed the table of contents and gave some good feedback on items we could change to help leave us with a better report structure.

We were also suggested to come back in two weeks time with a piece of written work, ideally around three or four paragraphs in length. This work would then be looked at by both lecturers and feedback will be given. The work is to be emailed to both Andrew and Amanda on the 23rd of November in preparation for the meeting the following morning.

There is currently no meeting scheduled on the Wednesday next week, allowing the team more time to spend testing.

Week 23, Meeting 2:
Date: 11/11/2010
Time: 02:30pm until 03:00pm
Staff present: Brian Morris, Phil Carlisle
Location: C2 – 08

The meeting with Brian and Phil this week hosted our Milestone IV presentation. This presentation was originally going to be a demonstration of our final level build, a fact all team members were aware of before the deadline today. Unfortunately, certain team members were yet to complete some of their assigned tasks, leaving the presentation a disappointment to both assessors and students. What we did end up presenting was an untextured, unfinished run-through of what was promised to be our final build.

Thankfully, the team also received feedback for the Test Planning presentation performed the previous week. Lecturers were generally happy, suggesting the team could have scored higher if we had gone into more detail in regards to the pre / post-test questionnaires and the methods of analysis we plan to utilise. Overall, the team received an A (70) for our third milestone.
