Just a few quick heads up!
I recently completed a source analysis of a study Kyle found during the Easter Break. You can find it included in the post underneath this one along with the original source, and I advise you all to take a good look through it. In my opinion, it's the most important source found yet, as not only does it relate to our test, provide lots of useful information to keep in mind and cross reference to other research papers we've done, it also proves part of our hypothesis correct!
I think it's vital this paper gets looked at by everyone in the team and not just me for the sake of writing a source analysis, so check it out! =P
On a different note, there's currently two bits of outstanding work that needs to be completed sometime soon- a character study from both Lewis and Steve. I believe one is of Zevran and the other the characters from the Legacy of Kain series- so just a quick reminder on that!
Also, update your bloody blogs! I know it's boring and nobody wants to do it (including me), but if they're not kept up to date it's going to take flipping ages to go back these weekly overviews on the main TF blog and edit all the links in.
It takes five minutes every weekend to write the post up- it doesn't even have to be longer than a couple of sentences. I wouldn't mind if if they were 1-2 weeks out of date, but some haven't even been touched since week four (the last time people were reminded.)
Finally, remember when writing documentation to include relevant citations. It's second nature to do so. We're University students, not children.
Any problems, let me know in the comments (or in person.)
Thanks!

What is our aim?
Our project aim is to research the usage of non-playable characters in games and investigate what drives player reactions to them.
By researching into this, we hope to evolve storytelling in games by defining the characteristics players find most compelling in NPCs, ultimately leaving with more engaging characters.

Speaking as a perfect and spectacular person who does all that anyway... I whole-heartedly agree!
Plus, I'm evidently pretty awesome at research.

I'll post the "betrayal in legacy of kain" stuff when I finish it. It still needs a bit of work before i'll be happy with it and ive been focusing on other stuff.
